Security and privacy
We keep your private information private
We do everything we can to keep your private data private. When you order something from us, you don’t want snoopers who run off with your personal data. You’re right.
We’ll ask for data from you so we can help you as best we can. You can read what data we ask for and what we use it for below.
You’ll also see what your rights are, who has access to your data and how long we keep your data.
Salutation, first and last name

We also use your email address to send you personal emails. You’d rather not get any more e-mails? Then you can unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link in the e-mails themselves.

Your data will be stored in our administration to link the payment to your order. Furthermore, we only use your bank account number when you get money back from us. I promise.
Our invoice contains the following information: your first and last name, address and place of residence, invoice number, customer number and order number. You won’t be unable to adjust the invoice afterwards.
We have minimal cookies to improve the user experience, when you have questions you can always email, call or access social media via us. We’d love to hear from you.

Want to know more?
What are the ‘legal grounds’ for using your data?
According to privacy law, we have to say what ‘legal grounds’ we have to use your data. We need information from you because of the contractual agreements between you and CareerTracker, such as your purchase of a service
We may also have a legal obligation to use your data, for example when we suspect fraud. And sometimes you’ve given us permission to use your data. We’ll keep a good look at this.
Who has access to your data?
CareerTracker and partners of CareerTracker. However, the partners are only data processors and with this we have concluded a so-called processing agreement.
In suspicious situations, we are required to share customer data with government agencies.
Furthermore, your data will not be shared or sold with ANYONE.
We don’t like it ourselves, so we don’t do it to you!
Where is your data stored?
We store your data in different databases. We always have strict security measures. East west, at home best: that’s why your data is almost always stored within the European Union. In the exceptional event that customer data is passed on to countries outside the European Union, we ensure that your privacy is adequately protected. For a number of countries, this has been officially established. Some U.S. parties have registered under the Privacy Shield, which provides sufficient protection. Or we work with official model contracts that are specially designed to ensure your privacy.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep and use your data for longer than necessary. Then we’ll delete all the data we have from you. Or do we use your data anonymously, because we need certain data for internal analyses and reports such as a benchmark investigation..
Sounds nice and simple, but how does that work in practice? We’ll keep certain deadlines, after which we’ll delete your data.
Here they are:
- We delete inactive customer accounts after 7 years. After that period, we only use your data anonymously for internal reports.
- From the Tax Office we have to keep our records with your invoice, payment and order details for 7 years. After that, we only use anonymous data for internal reporting.
